154-155 St Helens Road was a particularly bland 1960's office building.

The project was to extend the building vertically with 2 new floors and with an expressed stair and lift core fronting St Helens Road.
The intention was to provide a landmark building on one the main thoroughfares to the City Centre.

The project was intended to provide specialised living accommodation for young physically disabled adults and would have been the first project of it's kind in Wales.
