St Illtyd's Church, Oxwich, Gower |
|||
The restoration of the external fabric was completed in July 2002. The building was suffering from extensive water penetration and the solution was to apply a traditional lime mortar with a bagged finished coated with a breathable microsilicate paint. Historically the church had a lime washed finish and the building now looks much as it would have in medieval times. The cost was £85,000 and was grant aided by CADW and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
